The game has no timer, but you can only connect identitcal tiles which are adjacent to each other or tiles which can be connected with a line segment that makes no more than two 90 degree turns. On the first level the playing field is stationary, while on subsequent levels the tiles may fill in another direction like downward or upward. When you run out of moves you can click the shuffle button to reshuffle the tiles & if you have valid moves remaining but can not find them you can click the hints button to highlight a matching pair.
